Welcome to a fun and inspiring breakfast for tech leaders!

The GitLab DevSecOps Flow Hackathon

GitLab is hosting The DevSecOps Flow Hackathon at Chas Academy on March 31.

The challenge: Automate a DevSecOps flow from plan to deploy with AI

The participants will be trained and challenged to set up an AI-powered automated DevSecOps flow that dramatically speeds up the DevSecOps feedback loop and reduces the risk of deploying security vulnerabilities to production.

GitLab makes it much easier to set up and manage security processes, checks, policies and audit trails for your development life cycle. GitLab has all the capabilities needed for an effective DevSecOps in one platform with one UI. It enables developers, security auditors and AI to work effectively together without having to switch between different tools.

GitLab's AI agent, Duo, can explain vulnerabilities in plain English to developers and automatically generate code fixes to patch them.

Reviews From Executives

IKEA, H&M, Saab, Tetra Pak, ASSA ABLOY, PwC Sweden, Tele2, Alfa Laval, BabyBjörn, Samhall, Atlas Copco, Ericsson, Telia, SAS, Svea Skog, Transcom, Klarna, Eniro, Intelliplan and many more have all build mission critical solutions at our hackathons. Here are some reviews:

"Amazing to work with a team to improve a process that actually matters! Inspiring to experience what is actually possible to achieve in one day. Already looking forward to next time."

- Peter Sundström, AI & Digital Transformation Manager, Saab

"A very fun and rewarding hackathon where you could create tangible business value with minimal time investment. We brought a complex challenge and left with a clear solution, thanks to fantastic support and really skilled participants. Very well organized! We are currently exploring how we can move forward and implement the solution at Tele2!"

- Emma Larsson, Process Excellence Manager, Tele2

" I came in as a leader with a big idea and left with proof: vision aligned fast, a small and committed team hit the ground running and delivered innovation, and business value was demonstrated in days; any executive with a great idea should join! Truly a fun and focused experience."

- Srinivasa Kiran Kondaveeti, Product Manager, ASSA ABLOY

“The Hackathon gave me more of an advantage and knowledge about AI in one day than meetings and presentations about AI do. Building together with developers around a critical business problem is incredibly powerful. This is AI and modern development for real. Pace, focus and real challenges in an awesome environment. The best environment I know for leaders to quickly test, learn and make valuable connections.

It's actually hard to describe in words how great this is. You have to experience it and in that moment you're hooked. Addictive like nothing else! This is really something I'll do again.”

- Martin Weibull, CEO, Intelliplan

"I contributed with a business case because I wanted to explore how AI can translate ambitious business ideas into real, tangible solutions – and the hackathon delivered exactly that. If you're an executive with a great idea, this is the place to turn it into something real!"

- Tina Thelénius, Communications and Change Manager, PwC Sweden

"What you are doing goes far beyond a 'hackathon format.' You have become a leading actor in Sweden when it comes to compressing innovation into something tangible, learnable and real. For leaders who want fast, concrete learning rather than slides, it's a powerful format.

- Kenneth Pernyér, Strategic Foresight - AI Technology Management, ASSA ABLOY
