Through inspirational seminars, learning sessions and a full hack day, teams with a mix of skills and backgrounds will explore what's possible with AI and other game-changing capabilities. You'll get to push boundaries, test new approaches, and discover new ways of working. It's about experimenting, learning, and having fun while doing it.

The best teams present their solutions to Resurs Bank's executive team at the Grand Finale — and the strongest ideas move forward into real development.

The 2 Tracks

You can choose between two tracks, both of which are important for building game-changing solutions with game-changing technologies.

Mobile App: We are looking to integrate artificial intelligence into our customer-facing mobile app. There are significant concerns related to security, compliance and cost-effectiveness. This challenge provides an opportunity to explore how we can structure the solution to properly satisfy these concerns and provide a great experience to our customers. 

Software Development Lifecycle Cycle Agents: AI can be used to automate security, compliance and cost-effectiveness reviews of new code pushed in the CI/CD pipeline.  This hackathon challenge provides an opportunity to figure out how to do this effectively and reliably. 

When you apply for the hackathon, you will be able to choose which track you find most interesting.

Everyone that is eager to learn and explore is welcome to apply! This hackathon is all about sharing knowledge, sparking inspiration, and fostering a supportive community for all. 

Teams 

Teams of 4–5 will be assembled by the organizers, with skills, experiences and domain expertise in mind to create the best possible mix. Each team will also be assigned one of the ideas to work on.

Inspirational Seminar — August 19, 11:30–12:00
We walk participants through the full journey ahead — the goals, the challenges, the learning sessions and the technology we are exploring. A great opportunity to ask questions, get excited, and see why this might be one of the most rewarding things to do this year.

Ideation Workshop — August 27 or 28, 10:00–12:00
If you have an idea for what to build in the hackathon, this is the session for you. In this session we help you shape and articulate your idea. The best ideas get selected for the hackathon.

Idea Selection — September 4
The steering group reviews all submitted ideas and selects those with the strongest potential to create real business value.

Online Kick-Off — September 22, 11:00–12:00
We present the selected ideas and go through best practices on how to have the best hackathon experience.

Get Ready Phase — September 22 – October 6
Meet your team on our hackathon Teams server, get to know your teammates, scope down what you'll build, and plan your approach. Join our learning sessions! Tech support and coaching available throughout.

Learning Session 1: Business Value — September 24, 11:00–12:00
Most of us have been part of a project that never quite took off — built with good intentions, but used by too few. In this session we dig into what actually separates solutions that get traction and generate business value from those that don't. We also go through what makes a strong hackathon presentation and how to score well with the jury.

Learning Session 2 AI Infrastructure — September 28, 11:00–12:00
A hands-on session covering the tools and building blocks that make AI development more efficient, secure, and scalable.

Hack Day — October 6, 08:30 - 17:00
A full day of collaborative building. Demo submission deadline at 16:45.

Grand Finale — October 7, 10:00 - 12:00
Five finalist teams present their solutions to Resurs Bank's executive team. A celebration lunch in Helsingborg for everyone who participated.
